Loggerhead turtle Kahuna spent two years in a marine life rehabilitation center after it had her back flippers severely injured in an accident. Now the treatment is over and Kahuna has been set free. The doctors attached a radio transmitter to its carapace in order to track the turtle as it swims back home.
This is where the Great Wall ends to the East and leads into the Bohai Sea.
If it weren’t for these two young guys this poor little lamb would have surely perished in the sea.

These are transparent specimens of sea life. Iori Tomita is an artist and an undergrad who studies ichthyology. His work is the New World Transparent Specimens created through a lengthy process that uses dyes, enzymes, and preservatives. He is trying to show people the hidden side of natural beauty that they might miss normally.
These are shipwrecks from around the world. Even in their current condition, lying on the floor of the sea, they are still amazing in all of their splendor. It is difficult to tell what these incredible ships must have been like when they were still afloat.
Once known to be the prides of the sea, these ships are now abandoned and forgotten by most of us because of uncontrolled circumstances such as lack of manpower and poor maintenance. The sad thing is these ships were never restored and were left to rot on sea or land. Take a look of the pictures below and see the sad fate of these once-beautiful ships.
These underwater sea creatures are both unusual and beautiful. It is hard to imagine that something so incredible could live and thrive underwater. Some have names you won’t be able to pronounce and some are very common.

These ugly and unusual monsters are deep sea plankton. They look creepy!
Although it looks an awful lot like a road, it is not.
Can you guess what happened to this yacht? I will just say that nobody was hurt here, but to understand what was going on you need to see the second photograph. This story took place near the shore of South Africa.

There are many beautiful and unusual creatures that inhabit the depths of the sea. This compilation of fish, crabs and other amazing marine species is simply incredible.
Black Dragon Fish
The photos in this post are the underwater creatures that inhabit the White Sea. These incredibly difficult to take photos show the invertebrates that live in this cold northern sea. They seem to thrive living in such an unfavorable environment.
Look at this idyllic little cottage situated at an isolated spot (as it may seem) with the blue sky above and 5 minutes from the sea. Would you like to buy it?
I’m sure there are people who would be glad to have it, but not until they know all the details.
To see where this cottage is situated, go inside the post.
This girl could become a living anti-tobacco advertising…
Let’s start from the beginning.
This English woman in a club Arsenal T-shirt was sitting at the sea and wanted to smoke.
At this moment, the lighter fell down between two rocks.
The girl went down to get it but slipped and… got stuck there between those rocks.
Imagine, head down, her ass and legs up.
All this could be funny but there was a danger of a big tide flooding these rocks.
Luckily for the girl, she wore pink socks that day and one passerby noticed them.
He called the rescuers and everything ended well.
Check out more pictures after the break.
Funny story
I quote the author next:"For years now, of my life’s goals has been to scuba dive at the Great Barrier Reef. It may just have something to do with growing up in Alberta, the most bland, colourless, and featureless place on Earth, but pictures of the reef always made it look like the most beautiful place possible.
A few months ago, I finally made the trip. Not to dwell on the negatives, but here’s approximately what it cost:
Flight to Melbourne – $1500
Flight to Cairns – $500
Hotel in Cairns – $150
Dive boat rental – $200
Dive cost – $120".
