This chess set is made out of .223 bullet shell casings that have been spent. It is truly unique. One side uses brass casings and the other side uses steel casings. Obviously, none of the shells are live. The steel side has red oak wooded bases and the brass side has black walnut wooden bases.

Apparently a super fan of the television show MASH decided to build a set right in his own backyard. It’s all there too, including the latrines and even the swamp. Alan Alda and his buddies should be proud.
