These signs are either useless, conflicting, or both. However, they are absolutely hysterically funny. They will really make you wonder what the people who put them up were thinking.
This is a collection of the most weird, strange and funniest signs that you’ll ever see.
Some people should not be in charge of making official signs that will be public for all to see. This hilarious collection of strange and bizarre disclaimers and warnings will make you think twice before doubting human absurdity.
We would like to thank our reader netcars for this great post. He describes it as follows:
This post is short and sweet but it should put a smile on your face. I stumbled across a funny road sign the other day and it got me thinking about what other funny road signs there could be in existence.
Here is my Top 5:
Bumpass Hell - Watch Your Backs!!
Is the end of the world getting closer? According to these signs, it is.

Architect and photographer Kirsten Hively started Project Neon to document, in her humble opinion, the best neon signs throughout NYC. She has taken several hundred photos already and is trying to create an iPhone app that will direct visitors to the best neon signs in the city.
These are some very interesting and rather creative taxi cab signs in Tokyo, Japan. They are all lit up for potential customers and the rest of the world to see. Some of them are also very funny.
I can’t imagine what the people who put up these Jesus signs were thinking. Either they weren’t thinking or someone came along after they put up their Jesus sign and placed a completely inappropriate sign next to theirs or maybe some of them were deliberate. It either case, they are hilariously funny.
These are some ridiculously funny signs. Apparently some of the signs were just meant to be funny, while others seem dead serious. Regardless of their purpose that are all outrageously humorous.
These are some examples of some terribly misspelled and awkward signs. Some are street signs, some are government signs, and some are advertising signs. The one thing that they all have in common is that they are all ridiculous which makes them very funny.
These are some very ironic signs. In all cases, the signs are warning against something that they are in violation of. They are truly paradoxical signs.
Here is a selection of interesting, sometimes gross billboards and signs that advertise the advantages of not aborting a child.
Leave it to the Japanese! Instead of appealing to your good sense that smoking is going to kill you and those around you - They decide to warn you of other ways that smoking is detrimental. Like, littering, making your child's snowman ugly, and stinking the joint up. Not sure any of those reasons would make me quit smoking for good, actually I'm not sure these signs would make me want to do anything except light another one.
These are some of the best protest signs carried by Egyptian protesters and those who support them around the world. They make no bones about the fact that they want President Mubarak out of power and out of Egypt. He has recently stated that he won’t run for re election but I don’t know if that will satisfy these protestors.
These are some of the best protest signs of 2010. People are protesting everything imaginable. There are even some animal protesters. However, they are witty, funny, and most of all clever.
These are some very funny sports fan signs. These folks must stay up late at night thinking these clever sayings up. They make fun of everything from the other team players to the referees to the person sitting next to them.
These are disappearing boxes and street signs by Cayetano Ferrer. He uses photo stickers to make things appear transparent. His art is the best camouflage that I have ever seen. He needs to be working for some government agency.
These are very humorous signs that were apparently found around various towns. Some are advertisements by some rather well known companies and others were created by proprietors of a local business. In either case the author of these signs should have known better.
“The Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear took place on October 30, 2010 on the National Mall in Washington, DC. It was led by Jon Stewart and an in-character Stephen Colbert. It was a combination of what previously were planned as separate events: Stewart's Rally to Restore Sanity and Colbert's satirical counterpart, the March to Keep Fear Alive.”
Apparently, around 215,000 people gathered for this event (if you want to know more about it, Google it or search in Wiki…).
Anyway, here are 100 of the best signs you could see at the Rally To Restore Sanity And/Or Fear.
These are some hilarious signs in protest of the Pope and his conservative views in London, especially with regard to sex discrimination. Abstinence, Gay marriage, and abortion seem to be the hot issues of the day. The signs are very funny but serious too.
