Perfectly timed sports photos.
Created in 2001 in Montreal this unique sports blends yoga, acrobatics, and healing arts. While not yet an Olympic sport this difficult partner sport has been catching on for those strong and bold enough to attempt it.
If a person is participating in some sporting activity chances are good that at some point they will make a funny face, out of anger, shock or frustration. Check out this collection of funny and even awkward sports photos.
When the birds head south in winter, surfers grab their surf boards and head up to England braving the harsh temperatures to indulge in their favorite sport. Winter surfing is made possible in part by improved wetsuit materials and technology. These gorgeous images will have you yelling out surf’s up as you imagine riding the waves on the British beaches.
This 7-year old boy was born without any tibia or knee bones and had a rare condition known as Sacral Agenesis, so the bottom half of his legs had to be amputated when he was a toddler (15 months old). 2 months later, he got his first pair of prosthetic legs.
Pretty hard to start life like that but Cody doesn’t let the amputation hold him back and always has the smile.
He is fond of sports and practices a lot despite his condition – he swims, runs, plays soccer, golf, karate, ice hockey, makes rock climbing, rides a horse…etc. This is another example of what it means to have a strong spirit and it shows us that you can overcome a lot of things in life with smile and without complaining.
The problem is that he grows fast and his prosthetic legs become rapidly short and they are not cheap!
