Jay Weinstein is an India/Australia based, Hindi-speaking photographer and travel guide who came up with “So, I Asked Them To Smile” project. These pictures were mainly taken in India and the purpose behind this project is “to document the effect of the human smile on a strangers face.”
A funny social media experiment that shows why you shouldn't post personal stuff publicly.
Somebody likes to take pictures of nature. Others enjoy taking pictures of themselves, their family and friends. But there are people like Danny Santos II who shoot strangers on the city streets. This photographer lives in Singapore. So far he has about 65 portraits of strangers, but his goal is to create about 100 portraits. You can see the best of his works after the jump.
This series of photos by Richard Renaldi is based on a rather simple premise. He meets two people on the street who are strangers to him as well as to each other and asks them to pose for a picture with the stipulation that they must touch each other in some fashion. Hence the name of the series: Touching Strangers.
