Once a year, Israel observes Holocaust Remembrance Day, called Yom HaShoah, to commemorate the lives of those lost during the Holocaust. At 10:00 AM, a siren sounds and everyone stops whatever they are doing for two minutes, to remember those that were lost.

This cup was invented by an ancient Ionian Greek philosopher, Pythagoras, to prevent slaves from drinking too much, as there was a shortage of drinkable water on the island of Samos, where they lived. You can only fill it up to a certain level, because once the liquid inside goes high enough, everything pours out.
