For the story: his parachute opened backwards and became twisted, he smashed several times into rocks at 40 mph (64 km/h) and fell 1,000 feet to the ground (305 meters). He’s mostly unharmed except for minor injuries to his knees and ankle and was taken to hospital but was released a few hours later.
