Those pictures do not tell the real story of how difficult it is for homeless children in the former communist nations. You can watch "The Children of Leningradsky (2005)" over at Google video. After watching that, you will realize how easy even the homeless have it in the U.S..

I don't think any homeless people regardless of what country their in have it easy.

We work with such children in Ukraine. What's fantastic is that, although they are difficult (brutal, agresive...), they are also... just sweet children, when you scrap the harsh surface a little bit.
