its called MARKETING!!! The same thing that car makers do, when they release the cars power and fuel consumption. A good example is the Vlkswagens 2.0 TDI Diesel which has a 10-12 liters per 100 km consumption, but VW says it has half that!!!!

having scrolled most of the list, NONE of the 'after' pictures i saw were all that unreasonable or shocking. that's not to say that there aren't plenty of bait-and-switch horror stories out there, but these aren't remotely of that caliber from what i see.
