If you want to show off at the beach, don’t park your BMW on the sand. These guys did a big mistake, and instead of taking some great shots near the sea they had to spend the whole day digging their vehicle out of the sand. People who rested on the beach that day probably laughed heartedly at this scene.
This pixel art is made of post-its on the windows of one of buildings situated in Toulouse, France.
As Sa Sainteté Gerard XV, who sent us these pictures and to whom we thank a lot, wrote it all started with one window and then the people from other offices followed the idea which gave this post-it pixel art.
A lot can change in 16 years. But not in Afghanistan. These photos were taken by Seamus Murphy in 1994 and 2010. Even though the Taliban era is over by now, the place still looks like back in the old times.
Even though this collection of photos by Li Wei has some oldies of the day, it’s still awesome.
The photos in this post are of some scary and unusual tattoos. There are some oldies but goodies like a tattoo of Betty Page and some scary tattoos like that of Frankenstein. Regardless of their intention that are some amazing artwork.

Superheroes appear not only in movies, but also in real life, among us. They are just ordinary people who wear superhero costumes and were noticed by Peter Tangen, American photographer, to present his Real Life Super Hero Project.

Manshiet Nasser is a strange community in Cairo, Egypt. People call this place The City of Garbage because tons of trash come here from all over the capital of Egypt. The most unusual thing about this place is that people actually live here. Another strange thing about Manshiet Nasser is that local residents, the Zabbaleen, including women and kids dig through the garbage looking for something to resell. About 80 per cent of this trash is recycled and resold later on.
Cairo is not the only city on earth where such a model of Manshiet Nasser exists. It is already copied by communities in Los Angeles, Bombay and Manila.

Amazing photographs that capture motion we can’t notice in reality. Photographer Harold Edgerton knows perfectly well how to extend our awareness of time.
This is what is left of Gagra, a resort city on the Black Sea coast.
With its climate close to subtropical, Gagra was a popular health resort in Imperial and Soviet Russia among Russian elite. It was a paradise with its pleasant climate, a royal palace and a number of buildings in an eclectic variety of styles from around Europe. The park that surrounded the resort was also very popular with tropical trees and even parrots and monkeys imported to give it an exotic feel.
But the war between Abkhazia (political entity within Georgia which status is disputed) and Georgia in 1992-1993 deserted the place making it all ruins and a ghost town.
In childhood many of us dream to live in a fairy tale house. But only a few of us implement these dreams into reality and build amazing houses that seem to come alive from a fantastic world of books and movies. All these houses are real and they reproduce famous fairy tales and cartoons. I think it would be amazing to live in such a house.
The amazing photos were taken by Dr. Vaggelis Fragiadakis who is an amateur photographer, who was originally from Greece. The people in the black and white photos are mainly down on their luck. You can practically tell their life story by looking at their wrinkled faces.
