Leisure World is the America’s largest private retirement community founded in 1964 in California.
To get to this paradise you must be at least 55 years old. The perimeter of the community’s area which is of about 4 square miles, is surrounded with barbed wire. The average age of town residents is 77 years old. There are currently 18,000 residents in this earthly paradise. As it is indicated in the name of the community, the elderly come here for "non-stop vacations", for leisure. Their main activities are: leisure activities: golf, tennis, lawn bowling, bridge, barbershop singing, ballroom dancing, shuffle-board.
