These are some of the best protest signs of 2010. People are protesting everything imaginable. There are even some animal protesters. However, they are witty, funny, and most of all clever.

These amazing paintings depict what a modern day great flood would look like. I mean the kind of flood that washes away houses and tall buildings. It would be a catastrophe of epic proportions and would have everyone asking, who opened the floodgates?

This is my story of how I do my homework. Maybe you’ll recognize yourself in it as well?

These are some before and after photos of people who participated in the television show The Biggest loser, season ten. It is amazing how much weight these folks lost. They certainly don’t look like the same people.

The 28-year-old sales rep from Vicksburg, Miss., won "The Biggest Loser" and took home the $250,000 prize.

It is hump day yet again another week almost gone. Where does the time go, it just seems to fly by. It might be all these great photos that we keep finding helping us pass the time, who knows.

Heart Anyone?

Founded in 2007, this House of the Beautiful Flowers has now become a home for 23 elderly retired prostitutes. It is located in Tepito, Mexico, and it’s named after Casa Xochiquetzal, Aztec goddess of love and women.

The idea of creating such a retirement center belongs to former prostitute Carmen Munoz. She was shocked seeing her old “colleagues” sleeping in the streets. She spent years trying to convince the government to support her idea, and she finally was given an old 18th century house that is now transformed into a retirement home run by the government that can accommodate 45 former sex workers who should be at least 60 years old.

The story of these women was a part of a documentary created by CNN. It shows that no matter how difficult the life of these prostitutes is, as they have no home, and their children barely visit them in the House of the Beautiful Flowers, they continue to live and even smile.

This is a collection of royal engagements pictures. It includes the royal engagements from various Princes and future Princesses some of whom later became Kings and Queens. The weddings were very royal affairs.

Although there were protests in the streets of Rome, Silvio Berusconi won a no confidence vote by three votes. Obviously, he is not a popular ruler. There were probably some very unhappy Romans when they heard the news.

This is a collection of finger monkeys. They are actually no bigger than your finger and they are absolutely adorable. I don’t know if they are babies or are full grown but they sure are cute. Who woulda thunk it?

These are the Northern Lights of the Aurora Borealis over Iceland. They are growing in size and intensity and are expected to reach a spectacular peak in 2012. These photos were taken by Icelandic photographer Orvar Thorgiersson.

This is what you would call your basic restaurant in a bus. It travels around the hills of San Francisco and offers eight different dishes. It is a 1989 Ford Ward school bus called Le Truc. By the way, a sandwich costs $8.

Would you do this at - 36C? I would never do it, I simply couldn't. But these people from a local club in Krasnoyarsk went swimming in the Yenisei River on December 12, while the air temperature was -36C. The Yenisei River goes through portions of northern Russia and Mongolia before depositing into the Arctic. I don’t know how they are doing it, but judging by the look on their faces it can be said that they enjoy it a lot…It’s just crazy! I’m freezing now.
