Confucius Sees All
The 7.9 meter tall Confucius stature is situated in front of the National Museum of China in Tiananmen Square in Beijing. With a official sanctioned revival of Confucius in the last few years authorities have turned to his teachings to reach out to the international community. They are hoping to strengthen China’s soft power and counter an invasion of Western Culture.

The label has an imprint of the United States Flag, but it is actually created in China. You might see more of these as the United States and China companies sign a number of business deals when the Chinese President Hu Jintao visits Washington next week.
