I understand the goal of deetimrning which ideas generate the most interest within Wharton Computing. However, on a site that's supposed to foster brainstorming and new ideas, why should the rating system should go into negative numbers? That's why I don't use it. What about assigning positive ratings to ideas we like and just not rating the ones we don't? That way we could still understand which items are hot without outright dinging the ones that aren't.
