largest Jewish city to flourish and was under muslim (moors) rule. Thanks for leaving that part out , because muslims can not be shown in a good light even if it was in the past.
This city has been painting its buildings and alleys in blue since the dawn of time. The paining of the buildings comes from ancient times when the city was mainly Jewish.
