I can guarantee you that cop would be acting much differently if he didn't know he was being recorded. Jeremy would be face down on the ground, cuffed and probably have the shit kicked out of him.

obviously a lot of this comes down to the state's laws, but it seems that's a state that's asking for trouble. guy could have been a wanted man carrying a stolen weapon and the opportunity to catch him was completely wasted. what was the point of the pullover and what is the point of paying this cop's salary?

I agree with gigantes, if the guy may do whatever the hell he wants, there is some problems in the laws of the state, adn the policeman is useless.

Well if it's a state law that you can carry a gun with you, then that cop did all he could. And he did it well. He checked if it was a loaded gun and talked with that guy long enough to check if he's a nutjob or not. If that guy was patrolling my hometown streets, I would feel safe.
