Makes sense considering that outside of North America and a good portion of Europe and Australia air conditioning is not common though fans are.

cool invention. but as for the heading, there was no real sense in linking this to matrimony. very unnecessary and misleading IMO.

Looks like a giant hair curler.
This is called a “bamboo wife” and it is a type of pillow, made out of bamboo cane. It is used on hot nights when you want to cool down. The holes allow air to flow through and the bamboo is cooler than sheets.
