Going back to the early 20th century Glass Beach, near Fort Bragg and now part of MacKerricher State Park, was used as a dumping ground for glass and other refuse. Decades later the beach is covered with gorgeous multi-colored glass, smoothed by the ocean.
These scary photos capture a part of life for many along the railways of Bangladesh, India where thousands of people who cannot afford a train ticket hang on for dear life.
