Japan is finally trying to recover from the devastating tsunami that struck the country earlier this year. These photos show what a monumental effort it is. It will probably be years before things are back to normal.
Leen Sadder, a graduate student, reinvented this very unique toothbrush. Essentially, it is a Miswak which has fibers that are much softer than the bristles on a normal toothbrush. This stick has been used in the Saharan desert for thousands of years and has a natural source of fluoride.

These are some very clever posters for movies that took place in Texas. They are the creation of Jason Munn for the Texas Monthly Rolling Roadshow. They are very interesting and creative.
Have a look at Dan Reeve’s homemade RV-7A airplane. He built it over nine years in his basement. He had to completely demolish his basement to get the airplane out.

As you look at the world’s tallest skyscrapers up to the second tallest it is undoubtedly impressive what humans can achieve. However, the 2,717 foot Burj Khalifa in Dubai blows all previous “tall” buildings out of the water and makes one wonder what humans cannot achieve.
