General Motors built two or possibly three transparent automobiles to display at the New York World’s Fair of 1939-1940. The Pontiac Deluxe seven-window touring sedan (B-body) from that project is going up for sale. In between, it’s been on tour all over the country, displayed at the Smithsonian, and owned by a private citizen. |Neatorama]
In the southern Indian city of Mysore a wild elephant became separated from its herd and ended up roaming the streets for five hours. Unfortunately one man was gored to death and many vehicles chased and attacked during its rampage. Each year hundreds of Indians are killed by wild elephants, due to the constant impingement on their land.

Some awkward moments every one of us has experienced.
Apparently, the bear in these photos got a little too hot in the Florida sun. So the bear decided to cool off in this lucky person’s hot tub. I’ll bet Florida animal control had some fun removing the bear because it is huge.

Welcome to Rose Lake which is located in Senegal. The lake only covers an area of a little over 32 Sq. Ft. This pink lake has a salt concentration of 380 gallons per liter, which is very salty. Many of the Senegalese people mine salt from the lake bottom. The salt that is extracted is carried to shore in cakes. To protect their skin, the salt collectors rub their skin with shea butter which is an salve that is used to avoid damage to the tissues of the skin.
These are photos of the US Air Force Thunderbirds in Romania at the 2011 Constanta Air Show. They are nothing short of majestic as they perform back to back mirror flights high overhead. They are truly amazing pilots and aircraft.

These are some great illustrations by Israeli artist Noma Bar. She takes ideas that are complex and make them very understandable in graphic form. By only a few color and lines she makes her point crystal clear. Her ideas would make for a better world.

Meet Dale Price. He decided to wear these wacky costumes every day when his 16 year old son, Rain’s, school bus passed his house. He wears a different costume everyday when the bus passes by and waves to it. His costumes include a San Diego Charger’s helmet, an Anakin Skywalker helmet, and a pair of swim trunks and a snorkel mask. He never wears the same costume twice. Dale says it takes a lot of work but he doesn’t care because he is just trying to show his son that he cares about him. While it is surely weird, everyone enjoys the sights.
These amazing photo enhancements make the originals look like dull pictures done by an amateur. Adding some bright colors, effects and generally retouching the photos proved to be worth the effort. Next time you snap a photo, try to add some flare and see how much more eye catching they turn out.
It’s true what they say: God protects fools and drunks. This time it is about a drunken guy who met the stairs…
What do you think this is?
