Exactly, I would be pissed off... diving into a sewer to save someone, and then discover it´s a joke, is not funny at all.

well, looked like it was a rainwater sewer, not a sewage sewer... so i don't think the hero was worse for the wear.

having said that, i certainly hope he got some compensation from the gags show.

That's going too far. His wallet and cell phone didn't like that joke at all and he's wet like a dog in the middle of city. And just for laughs.
