If he was a good pilot he would have shut down and secured the engines before he did the gear up landing. Nothing like smashing the props up and adding more damages to the engines. He should have landed in the grass beside the runway. Help minimize post crash fire.

landing on grass to get ripped in parts ?
after a crash landing the frame of the airplane is damaged there is no repair method for such a plain...
he did the complete right thing of sliding on flat hard ground

You are wrong there. Even jets can pretty easily be recovered into service again if all was done correctly. We have one jet in our company that did one of these, not to bad damage and it was flying again in a few months.
If a prop is running while it hits the ground the engine is basically dead so there is a very good reason to kill the engine before.
