Rhex is cool in that it doesn't use any familiar method of mobility. It is a bit more logical in movement - although still clumsy to any extent (to play devil's advocate)... but still effective. It's a cool illustration of logical progression of "robot-ism" in comparison to the evolution of "x"-pedal lifeforms, and to combine Rhex with the Sand Flea: You have a scary search/recon device on your hands that would be pretty useful today.
