The casting for the main characters was perfect. Sharon Stone, and a few others..too old. Madonna!? She would have been a hideous choice.

My dad, a former Navy vet, refused to go see the movie. When asked why, he said: "I know how it ends!" :-)

On the final night of shooting in Nova Scotia, one or more pranksters mixed PCP (angel dust) into the clam chowder served to the cast and crew. 80 people were taken ill, many hospitalized with hallucinations.
