The casting for the main characters was perfect. Sharon Stone, and a few others..too old. Madonna!? She would have been a hideous choice.

My dad, a former Navy vet, refused to go see the movie. When asked why, he said: "I know how it ends!" :-)

Reba McEntire was offered and had accepted the role of Molly Brown, but due to later schedule conflicts, had to turn it down.
