yea... doesn't look like there's any mechanism to brake those little wheels. AFAIK the way that planes brake is to reverse engines / propellers.

Some smaller planes have wheel brakes. Reversing engines works only on jets. Some propellers can have variable geometry, but it doesn't allow turning backwards, neutrum at best.
Something blocked the wheels here, and the prop pulled the plane forwards.

my point still stands- no mechanism for intentionally slowing the wheels, hence there is no 'braking' involved.
