19-year-old Formula 2 racing driver Dino Zamparelli was driving at 150 mph (240 km/h) when this occurred. His amazing reaction left him with only a broken ear instead of a possible fatal crash.

His head hitting off the side of the cockpit. Helmets reduce impact, not negate it completely.
