That is the problem... They think that it is a good idea just because it is Legal.... It's fucking dangerous... to them and to the drivers.... But you hipster douche bags push for these laws to allow bikes.. then cry when someone gets killed....
The only way that this will ever work (and even this is stupid) is if new roads are built with bikes in mind... NOT as an after thought... It's your ass... go ahead and mingle with 2 tons of rolling steel... I for one wont feel guilt when you disregard the traffic laws and physics paints your brains on the pavement....
