In Ballenstedt, central Germany, the local air show played host to over a thousand spectators. They watched Transport Allianz C.160 “Transal”, a medium sized military transport aircraft, developed by the Germans and the French. When boarding the aircraft, the pilot radioed that he saw the beginning of the runway. The pilot was given the go-ahead and proceeded to land the aircraft, causing some onlookers to shit their pants.
