Looks like a dangerous world. Almost everyone in this post has guns, knifes and pepper sprays. All of which is illegal to carry in public spaces around here (Norway).
Fenrisulven - Even if it's not a dangerous area, you never know when you might need a weapon. I'm sorry that they don't allow you to carry something for self-protection in Norway. Unless the crime rate in your country is absolutely zero, why not have a method to protect yourself in the unlikely event you are attacked?
It should be noted that most of the people carrying firearms, have a very good reason. Note the job descriptions: Soldier, Firearms instructor, Linux admin...
No it hasn't. The UK has a very comparable rate of violent crime than the US. When adjusted for population, the UK has as almost the same rate of mass shootings as the US. You can't even carry a proper pocket knife with a locking blade in the UK. By your logic, there should be NO crime in the UK, yet, in many categories, they are worse than the US (see car theft).
Maybe if the government would do something about CRIMINALS owning ILLEGAL guns, than we, the law-abiding citizens wouldn't have to carry them for our own protection. Don't blame responsible gun owners you utter morons.
RaoulDuke77, you are the utter moron. You need to educate yourself. America does not have a big problem with ILLEGAL guns. Most criminals that used a gun, have used a LEGALly owned gun that either they were able to purchase or was owned by a friend/relative. The problem is the lack of mental health care for the mentally disturbed and continuously dwindling funding for our law enforcement.
