I wish we would take care of people the same way....

Here is the rub. I have four dogs of my own and take care of my mother-in-laws dog as well (she pays vet and license, I pay food). My four dogs are medium to large and are extremely lovable. My problem is the amount it costs to have them. It is a big strain on my limited budget especially when the county I live in charges outrageous fees for tags. I can't afford to go away for more than 2-3 days because housing them costs a fortune. Two of my dogs are strays, the other are puppies from the one female. All have been fixed so no more surprises. I love them and wish I could give them more. I already lost one of my first strays because he got shot at and then hit by a car. Who shoots at a tail wagging dog? And I live in the country not the city. I see strays all of the time mostly because people can't afford to take care of them. Please stop puppy farms. Don't buy a dog at a store. Adopt only. Get them fixed immediately. We must stop this insanity.

I totally agree lordfly911, never ever buy a dog from a puppy farm. They should be banned worldwide.
