I don't like the "finished" look of the spindles compared to the rough finish of the seat, back and rockers.

great stuff.

of course, that would be a rocking chair for cool weather. for hot weather, you'd want a back that would let the air through... so that your shirt wouldn't turn in to a sweaty mess.
