Poor landing gear... also, see how the wings flex due to the violent winds (35 knots).

Actually a 727 has 3 engines in the rear, but still a cool video.

That was literally a "crash landing with a happy ending"! One or two tires may have blown up, and the upper baggage compartments probably popped open in the passengers area propelling out most of the carryover luggage, among other damages in the aircraft.

The force of the impact may have resulted in many injuries inside the plane, such as minor concussions in the arms, head and especially in back. But, despite of all that, everyone that was on that plane should find themselves extremely fortunate that they walked out of that vessel in one piece and with their own legs. In many other cases people ware harvested in little cooked pieces from the wreckage!

Pilot probably pooped on his pants, but he deserved a Medal of Honor for this amazing safe landing and for all lives he saved!

BTW, the Airport Tower Operators should have deviate the landing of this plane to a nearest airport. They have (or should have) detailed information about winds and weather condition, so they can make the decision of which landing lane to use and, in extreme cases, close all landing lanes to prevent risk of catastrophic accidents.

Does anyone know "when" and "where" it happened?
