What will probably happen is Porsche will tell this guy to go fuck himself. If he hasn't investigated the 'Lemon Law' in his state, he should.
Porsche spends a shitload of money advertising in magazines and it keeps car magazines afloat (since circulation numbers are always dropping), so when they review any car that Porsche brings to market, they give it glowing reviews.
If they do a comparison with an American branded car (Corvette, Viper, etc), the Porsche always seems to win the comparison even though the performance numbers may be the same and the Porsche costs significantly more.
BMW is pretty much the same way.
Porsche's are decent cars (I've owned 2 of them) but like BMW's they are grossly over-rated.

Porsche! Give the man his money back! Once again large companies screwing over the little man. Will it really hurt you to pay up? I’m sure it wouldn’t even put dent in yr pocket Porsche, as opposed to bad publicity. Grab a brain and do the right thing.
