If you ever go to Paris, don't be fooled by the Paris ring scam where scammers try to foist a "gold" ring on you to get a finder's fee.

It would have been more amusing if he would have told her that in his country, a woman handing a man a ring represents a marriage proposal. He would have 'accepted' and then insisted they consummate their engagement right then and there.

Hilarity ensues!
