A Brazilian man has created an ingenious device to facilitate and secure the task of climbing up trees such as coconut trees.

Ingenious but as the diameter of the tree decreases as he climbs, the chains get more slack which is a hazard. He should also have a safety harness that connects him to the equipment so that he wouldn't get blown completely off from a strong wind, etc.

i've seen a much simpler version that the pros use which seemed to work more safely and easily. but i can't remember if it needed cleats or not, so that could be one advantage with this version.
