A couple made sure they got noticed on their wedding day by traveling to the venue in a procession of earth excavators through the streets of Pingdingshan, central China's Henan Province. Groom Zhang Zongqiang and his bride-to-be traveled in style at the head of the convoy, standing in the bucket of the first excavator. All of the six vehicles were decorated with colorful ribbons and balloons, like parade floats, and attracted a lot of attention from passers-by. Zongqiang works in a local heavy machinery company doing sales and servicing and fixing the machines. He thought it would be a great idea to use the excavators as wedding cars.
