That train was not doing 75mph. Maybe 50mph and I doubt that fast.

75 mph, yawn. I must admit it looks good, but this is nothing. Come over to Europe, have a look at our trains. (Or go to Japan) This video here is a regular connection in Germany, these trains run at about 150 mph. And that's not even record-breaking. YouTube: watch?v=3AY0QfPIYF8

Also, when you watch the sleeper in the foreground in your video above, it is clear why so many train accidents happen in the US. It needs to be replaced urgently. It should not move at all when a train is running over it.
