I'd suggest they work on the sound effects.
Like, set a hard microphone in a beach and a high fidelity speaker to reproduce the sound of the hit that break a piece of that rock so the microphone capture it as if it was real, with the effects the ambiance have on the sound.
That would make it feel so real.
About the visual effects they are already great, making the moves and reaction to the hits appear to be real but the lights around could be better. I mean, they originate from nothing around when they should come from the subjects to feel like you could forget that is all fiction and dive that world in your mind. xD
