There was a suggestion made yesterday (on a well-known blog-news website) that the US - as a nation - should repeat a past effort to correct the horrible mistake made, bringing these people here as slaves, by reuniting them with their native African continent.

It suggested using the US Navy's vast mothball fleet of cargo and troop vessels to accomplish this goal. It also suggested that each who chose to return would get a moderate cash offering to begin again.

It closed by stating that it is now more than clear that so many in the black community have no wish to live in this country and that we really should not hold this against them... but give them a chance to go home.

It's an interesting concept but one that will probably never be taken for the honesty in which it was offered.

From a point of view outside America this is batshit crazy. I cannot understand why doing this will solve any of the problems the afro americans have with the goverment. I understand why they are rioting, but i cannot fanthom why they are doing it like this!
I can only see this getting worse when they cant behave like civilised people.

There's a difference between protesting and rioting. I say ask them to disperse and then start shooting the rioters.
