19 year old Anson Lemmer was delivering pizzas in his home town of Glenwood Springs when he saved the life of a customer.
Anson arrived on the scene with his order and saw a man laying on the ground, seemingly unconscious.
Anson immediately sprung to action, actually forgetting to put his car into park in his rush to help the man.
Anson says he took a Red Cross CPR class when he was 12 or 13. Firefighters arrived on the scene soon after, but credited Anson with the save, saying “quick action early goes a long way in saving a person when they need CPR.”
Anson, true to the classic hero, tries to avoid the praise he is receiving.
“I don’t think it was anything heroic that I did. It was just something that I had to do,”
“They all shook my hand and tipped me pretty well, and I got to take home a pizza so that was all right,”
On twitter, Anson’s home town popularity has quickly spread and has already become a meme.
So remember, always tip the pizza boy. You never know when your pizza boy is the secret identity of “Pizza-Man!”
