XY Studio designed a modern kindergarten, called Yellow Elephant, located in the town of Ostrow Mazowiecka, Poland. The one-storey building with an area of 810 square meters is divided into five rooms, two of which are nursery and the other three are kindergarten. It can accommodate 125 children.
Interior courtyard with a sandpit and a tree are "the heart of the building." The ceiling height was reduced as much as possible so that the kids could feel that the building was designed especially for them. And of course, what catches the eye is that there are bright colors everywhere
