This father decided to turn one of the corners of his house into an awesome playhouse his kids could use for their games. He did an amazing job.
Beginning stage of framing
Kids are helping already, notice the marker scribbles
Starting the Sheetrock
Casings are made from 1/2 inch mdf that I ripped out of a 4×8 sheet when I couldn’t find what I liked (or fit)
The door on the top right leads to a rope bridge. The ladder was added later due to my kids small size. I didn’t fully trust them climbing in unsupervised.
Interior furnishings, thanks to mommy.
Rope bridge was sketchy at first but now the kids fly across it. The loft is finished!
The finished product!!
