Between 1939 and 1943, Glenn Miller was a best-selling recording artist whose most notable tracks included "Moonlight Serenade," "Pennsylvania 6-5000," and "Chattanooga Choo Choo." While traveling to entertain troops in France during World War II, his plane mysteriously vanished over the English Channel.
