But it was his breakthrough performance in Michael Bay’s World War II saga “Pearl Harbor” and "Black Hawk Down" in 2001 that brought him global fame. Voted as the “sexiest vegetarian in the world” by PETA in 2003, Hartnett also featured in People magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People” list in 2002.
