The Stoneman Murders

The most notorious serial killer in Indian history was responsible for the killing of at least 13 homeless people in Calcutta (now Kolkata) and possible dozens more in Bombay (now Mumbai) in the 80’s.

The assailant would crush homeless men’s heads in with a rock and then leave the bludgeoning device next to the dead bodies.

No one was ever charged with the murders and it is believed that the killer is still very much alive and possibly active.
