Christina Marie
Carroll Christina Marie Carroll surrendered to authorities on Oct. 10, 2017 in connection to a recent hit-and-run in Florence, Alabama that left a man on a motorized wheelchair dead, according to the Times Daily. The 26-year-old was charged with leaving the scene resulting in death, which is a Class C felony and carries a sentence of 1-10 years in prison if convicted, the news outlet reported. Her attorney Tim Case said that they are cooperating with law enforcement and "once [Carroll] tells her side it will be clear that, although it will still be tragic, it was an accident." Police say the victim, Kevin Allan Doherty, 57, was struck around 8:20 p.m. on Oct. 6, 2017 by what witnesses reportedly described as a "small SUV."
