It was made by Debbie Wingham, English cake designer, to look just like Kim Kardashian. But Kim didn’t order it. Instead it was a customer whose girlfriend looks just like the celebrity, so he ordered a cake that looks like both women (both in appearance and size). Because of real diamonds used to adorn the cake, it’s cost is $1.2 million, beating the previous record holder from Dubai.
The face was created with the help of 3D printing and the only thing that differs from Kim’s image, is the shape of the chin. Tiny details count as well: manicure, makeup, and even eyelashes made of sugar. By the way, the whole cake was edible except for the diamond jewelery.
That’s how the cake and its creator, Debbie, look together. Kim and her doppelganger are both quite petite and Debbie tried her best to take into consideration all their features. Anyway, the customer was really pleased.
