In the 1980s, actor Steve Buscemi worked as a firefighter in New York City. After the 9/11 tragedy, he returned back to his previous job. Along with other rescuers, he tried to find people who had survived the attack. In 2012, Buscemi helped again during the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. For a long period of time, Buscemi tried to hide his contributions to all these events.
