Charlie the Blue and Yellow Macaw – 119 Years Old
Charlie was a female blue-and-yellow macaw, reportedly hatched in 1899, making her the oldest living bird. She’s also known as “Charlie the Curser” due to her profane language. She currently lives in a garden centre, in Surrey, England, and was reportedly the pet of Winston Churchill, who taught her all of her curse words, and some anti-Nazi tirades.
There’s no proof of this, but it’s a cool story nonetheless.
